A Space of Joy and Fun

Growing up, we didn’t travel on planes or go anywhere far. Seemed like the furthest was LA which always felt like the longest 8hr car ride where we stopped at every rest stop and ate the pre-packed meals of rice and beef in aluminum foil.

In high school I went to Hawaii with friends and that set the tone to be a regular destination.

My family was not adventurous so camping or spontaneously going somewhere outside of our city was not a regular thing to do.

Because I didn’t know any different about travel, I focused on my career with hardly any fun breaks in between.

As I got older and experienced more of life’s uglier side, however, I started to feel burned out and angry.

It wasn’t easy to shake off and I couldn’t pinpoint why I wasn’t happy.

I joined a lifestyle community which completely changed my outlook on life. I always thought this was for a certain “kind” of people but only to find out it’s for regular people who want more but don’t necessarily think they can.

My life today is legitimately in a space of fun and joy which in turn help me become a better person.

I hope that others who want a better life will join spaces where their heart yearns to be.
